Hello, and welcome to my blog. My name is Amerins van Olphen, 25 years old and living in Gorredijk, the Netherlands. I am currently studying International Business and Management at NHL Stenden, and the time has come for me to go abroad. You see, in the study that I am doing, you are given the opportunity to study abroad. It is an exciting, yet nerve-wrecking experience and I expect to learn a lot from it.

Now you are probably wondering where I am going, or you saw it in the title already. I will go to Sweden for 5 months, and I will attend the Halmstad university. For the people that know me, this choice was probably not a surprise. I am in awe of Sweden, the country is beautiful. I visited many times while on holiday, which made my choice of going there even easier. However, as I arrive in January, it will probably be quite cold. Less excited for that, to be honest. The courses I will follow are; Business Culture, International Marketing, Marketing and Swedish language.

I am currently counting down the days, as I will depart on Saturday the 18th. I packed my bags two weeks ago. This means that I have nothing to wear except for pyjamas at the moment, as I packed my whole closet. You could say that I am excited. 🙂
